Asthma
I think I know what you mean...it doesn't happen to me routinely as such, but if either a) I have a big meal, or b) I eat when I'm a bit wheezy, I can get very short of breath.
Yes I can get that. Also when I eat something very cold. Not a nice feeling at all.
Hi I have had this too. I was told it's because when the stomach is very full it can push against the lungs a bit which causes the breathlessness. I try to avoid big meals now and find it better to eat more smaller ones. x
Ahhhh right I didont know that it's gAve me a peice of knowledge now we learn new things everyday lol thank you
You are welcome x
You're not the only one I'd take about two or three bites , and I Begin to feel tight in the throat , by then I've lost the interest of eating which really cuts Into to my diet. I'm left hungry because I can't even get a full meal down. Without a asthmatic showdown. It's very rare that I get to finish or dare I say enjoy a meal with no asthma interference.
That is now happening to me. I have learned to eat smaller portions. When I eat a big meal I am so uncomfortable with a tight chest that it is not worth it. I have heard that when you eat your blood rushes to you stomache to digest the food. If oxygen lower, will decrease more.
