Normal lung function with asthma like symptoms

How many of you have asthma like symptoms with a normal lung function test?

my last set of lung function tests were normal and a week later I was very ill with a chest infection. I've had low lung function results to etc tends to vary I find. the only problem is that when the results are normal alot of docs assume you are fine which can be very frustrating.

Last year my LFT came back normal, got invited to a bronchial challenge about 1 month later and my baseline LFT showed asthma... just done a new set of LFT and showed asthma straight off...

Results vary and can easily show false negatives if you're controlled at the time of the test
