Hello i'm Yvonne Joyce and I've suffered from asthma since i was 12 yrs old i am now 50 and my asthma still bothers me at times if the weather is too cold i wheeze a lot and have to use my inhalers.I have a tablet i take at night called MONKULAST and it helps me.

Hi Yvonne. I'm in a similar boat. I've had asthma since I was 2. I'm 40 now and my asthma has become more problematic lately. I think when I was younger I was able to push through the bad patches and try to pretend I was normal (until I ended up in A&E, that is!). Lately, I'm not able to do that. As my asthma is more problematic, it's having more of an impact on my day-to-day life. I suppose it's all a part of aging, but, as with most of us, I don't want to get old! I have two kids though (11 and 8) so I have to keep going for them. Anyway, I hope you are well and welcome to the community. Emily x
