Reoccurring headaches

Hi I keep headaches every couple of days and when I cough it makes it worse

Any suggestions why I may be getting headaches could it link to my lung health could be the amount of meds I'm on

Any advice will be helpful

coughing can cause headaches, I'm not sure the exact science of it but I know when I've got a bad cough my headaches definitely get worse. I've found that putting a heat pack on the top of my head helps ease the headache.

Thx my headaches do go but they reoccur I like putting a cold flannel on my head

I've had a lot of headaches when I'm not well and I think perhaps it is because I just don't get enough oxygen when my breathing is so shallow. If you haven't done any breathing exercises, you could try them. Fresh air that isn't cold is a good idea, and finding a way to relax can help. Being ill is stressful in itself and we all know stress can cause headaches. In any event, mention this to your GP and see what s/he says.

I'm going to hospital on Thursday so I might mention it then thx you for your advice

Hi, headaches are accompanied with Asthma exacerbation which I believe you have right now. It is like the side effect of asthma.
