Hi & welcome :-)

I imagine that your lungs are going through a lot at the moment. For the long-term, it will be for the good, but for now...who knows!

My experience of vapes is that I find the perfume smells can be problematic & unpleasant, but that might just be me! All in all, though, I'm sure that the vaping will be better for you. Maybe you'll get to a point where you don't need anything, but for now, I hope you soon recover from your attack.

Thank u for ur reply,as u can image it was quite a shock as im 47,and have never even had a chest infection, the dr belive my attack was triggered by hay fever,so im on antihistamines at the moment plus a preventive inhaler, and a blue inhaler,I suffer badly with acid reflux also due to a hiatus hernia and I understand this dosnt help asthma either.

You're right about the reflux - it can sort of mimic asthma because the acid causes inflammation around your throat & narrows the entrance to your airways which causes wheezing, coughing & shortage of breath.

I am on omprazole for my acid reflux to go with my asthma. Something to look into with your asthma plan

I know vaping can aggravate my asthma and cause coughing. I too suffer with acid reflux and take lansoprazole. I think vaping however is better than smoking as hasn't got the chemicals in
