Hi Sharon,
I am sure that the brown inhaler is now working. The thing you have to remember is that the brown inhaler reduces inflammation in your lungs, and if your lungs are very inflamed its going to take some time for them to calm down.
If you had a cut and a bruise on your knee that was swollen, even after you had treated it, it would take time for your body to heal.
If I get a bad cold/ and have bad asthma attack it takes my lungs between 8 to 10 weeks to recover completely.
I suppose what I'm trying say, is don't panic, unless your symptoms are getting worse. If they are you should go back to the doctor.
It's going to take some time, and you should slowly notice improvements in the coming weeks. As you've just started using the steroid inhaler it will take probably at least a month to get the full benefit. If after a month you've notice no change I would make another appointment with your Asthma Nurse/GP

Hi shannon97 hope your feeling better in your self it takes time Shannon but u will feel better each day just keep taking inhalers and blue one if needed good luck 👌
Hello thankyou for replying,my asthma nurse put me on it because I've had toght chest and that, does that mean it's ashma? I had people out last year about it and they said they didn't think it was to do with my asthma but the nurse gave me a choice to even go on brown one or not and I chose to x
Hi shannon
If your responding to the medication then its asthma so im lead to believe. Like others said the brown takes time to work but if at anytime you need quick relive use the blue.
Good luck!
Yes Shannon if your inhalers are working then it's probably asthma x
So if it don't end up working does it mean it's asthma😞 Like the nurse asked if i had ashma then it went?
