I have an appointment with the asthma nurse tomorrow, and it's my first ever appointment since I was given a 'working diagnosis' only 4 weeks ago. Does anyone know what happens with the nurse? Will I undergo more testing?

She will probably ask you to breathe as hard as you can in a tube might weigh you. Nothing to worry about. Best advice I can give is to write down all your concerns and worries and make the most of your consultation supprisinng how they can put your mind at rest 😘
Usually just a chat about how you've been; peak flow meter recorded; weighed; in my case BP checked but I think that's because I have kidney issues as well; and discuss your asthma plan or, as it's your first time, create one.
I have my annual in October so I tend to get the flu jab as well. In fact, my surgery have linked the two: No flu jab until you've attended the annual check up.
Nothing to worry about.
