Hi SarahJane, you should check the notice and talk to the pharmacist. It didn't agree with me but did the opposite, I had insomnia. Take care xx

I have been on Montelukast for 4 years and haven't noticed any side effects. I am tired all the time, but that could be due to one of the other tablets or the fact that my health hasn't been brilliant these past four years either! I don't think I could pin it down to the Montelukast. I have had to learn to listen to my body to stay healthy. It's not fun getting old (and I'm only 40!).

Hi, I am on 10mg montelukast past 2 years and it really helps me. First couple of weeks on it I was really tired. At the time I considered it a worthy price to breathe again. Thankfully that side effect wore off pretty quick. As for the spots. I didnt have that problem. But if yoh have had a serious flare up you are probably quite run down, and that could do it!

Hope you feel better soon. Speak to your Asthma nurse if you are worried

Yes, 10mg of montelukast a day and I am having trouble with lots of spots on the back of my legs and some more minor on my face - never had any problems with spots before so planning a trip to the doctors soon. I may just have to put up with it as it definitely helps my breathing!
