hi, everybody i have kept up with all your posts and i feel very sorry for all of you and your children. In my 3rd post i said i was going to have a rest for christmas, On 30/12/16 i walked in the kitchen to make a cup of tea then heard a pop in my chest then a sharp pain in 3 to 4 minutes i could not breath my wife phoned 999 in 30 minutes i was in hospital.In a+e a small chest drain was inserted, on the3/1/17a larger drain was inserted the PNEUMOTHORAX resolved over time and the drain was removed on15/01/17. I was given a prophylactic course of tamiflu due to flu outbreak on theward. PNEUMOTHORAX ? is just a posh name for collapsed lung. so i'm back.

Hi if you don't have asthma but copd then you would get more advice and support on the British Lung Foundation which is another site on HU.. That is for all lung diseases from asthma to IPF etc. Most of them there have copd. It's a very good well supported site. x
sorry to hear about your 6yrs but they say i do not illness i have had asthma for 36yrs but they say not copd. have you stopped smoking if not advise you do asap. good luck mate!
