While out Christmas shopping for stocking fillers bought a few things from Lush for daughters Christmas stocking.
Put my purchases up in my bedroom and was sitting up in bed and started coughing had to reach for my ventolin. Had to remove said purchases from room. Love Lush but the products don't love me.

Hi. They don't love me either I bought 3 sets for presents recently and had to leave them in my sons house. Suffering now because of them !!! Best wishes. xx
Hi I did notice the smell caught the back of my thrroat. I had have ventolin before I gone in that day because of the damp weather. So thats the reason I was ok.
Yankee candles do the same for me i.e make my cough I had to bin a yankee candle that my giirls had bought me for my bday. However you can get candles without the troublesome ingredients. I thave a melt that I bought this year which has been fine. I can wear my favourite perfume an old fragance called Anya from bodyshop. I think with things its trial and error its not all things but some and its not always the strong smelling ones that can give you trouble.
Can manage to use ecover for cleaning and I use an ecoegg for washing. I highly recommend the ecoegg so encomical 240 washes for £16.
Smelly candles and diffuser sticks , cigarette smoke, and other chemical smells are my enemy ... all new onset .... and I LOVE smelly candles especially this time of year .... very frustrating ... has anyone had a challenge test and what was it like ... consultants are in discussion as to the next route for me !
This is such a common problem for me. I have a real problem with toiletries, and friends are always saying "this won't cause a problem, its all natural" Well its a lot of "natural" ingredients that cause me enormous problems.
Its trial and error usually very strong smell in cleaner are a red flag i.e. not good.
I react to everything that has a smell be it,perfume chemical newspaper print everything. Most annoying as you can imagine.
went to the local shopping centre yesterday went past the lush shop started coughing ( I am coming to end of a bad chest infection) it went on for about 2-3 minutes then became very very wheezy had to take about 7 puffs of my inhaler to stop the wheeze really fed up now.
Went in Lush again today must have been in 2 mins max. The sale assistant said after a week you cant smell it when I said it was bad for asthmatics. Not a job for us then.
