Quick question

Hi all hope everyone is well. This is just a quick question I've noticed about an hour or so before I start having chest tightness and wheezing I seem to get a sore throat does the happen to anyone else xx

Yes, but I have no idea why. It seems to me to be a part of a general 'not particularly well' feeling that precedes an attack. I suppose it could be part of an infection if you have a chest infection, but I really don't know.

I do not get a sore throat before my chest tightens but I do get an itchy chin an hour or two before. I recognise this as an early warning signal and take my ventolin,which I rarely take otherwise,which usually reduces the severity. Infact, if my family notice me scratching my chin they let me know as I don't always notice myself doing it!

So why not a sore throat? Try taking your reliever inhaler if you get a sore throat and see if it lessens symptons. Worth a try !

I wonder what odd symptons others get as an early warning system?!

Yes I do too. Also think it's first sign I get when coming down with a cold. Sadly for me, no amount of ventolin at this point prevents an infection 😩
