Anyone find they are fobbed off with steriods, when the GP should be helping with the underlying cause. It's taken me 40 years to actually get an appointment with a consultant!!!  Haven't seen one since the age of 8. I am now with a consultant and what a big improvement !! Anyone know about RAST .

Hi ........ Unfortunaly It's much the same for me with my consultant at the Royal Brompton... I'm on a maintenance of 20 mg pred + fluteform 250...... Each time I've seen my consultant which is six monthly he simply listens to my chest and tells me to up my pred to 40mg for two weeks and I'll see you 6 months !! Lol
