We learn so much on here. I read your link and it does sound really complex. I had never heard of that before. At least you have a proper diagnosis and something now to work with. Fingers crossed as always.....

Good luck for Thursday! The first steps of tackling any illness/condition is finding out what it is and how you are going to deal with it👍 although it sounds like a horrible condition, I'm sure you will be in good hands and you'll be able to cope with whatever it throws at you - you sound like a very strong resilient lady!

Btw isn't oxygen therapy what Michael Jackson used to keep looking young - hmm hopefully by the end of your treatment you'll look 10 years younger....cheaper than plastic surgery LOL

Big Hug for you ❤️

Keeping fingers crossed for you still; I read up about the condition when I saw your posting. It sounds as though they are taking good care of you over there and are being rather more considerate of your feelings than the consultant over here who gave you the brush off.

All the best for Thursday.x

Yes they are knowledgeable and kind. They have sent my blood samples to Lausanne where they can detect further. Apparently it happens to women only and between 30 and 40 so they think my adult onset asthma was misdiagnosed. It's more like a symptom of this condition. I must have this for 30 to 20 years thinking it was just my asthma getting worse.

If only theyhad given me a ct scan then...

Anyway now they have to scan and ultrasound my other organs..

It has not totally clicked to tell you the truth..

The only thing that clicked was my father saying I can't cope with this Im 87 you were supposed to come and look after me.. The older the meaner they say.. Well sorry Dad I have to look after myself now so as soon as I have found a flat I'll be out of your hair..

Honestly I didnt have the strength to read all those articles last night I just posted them. I know I can cope and I will the slightest bronchitis I will be in I think.

For now my European card doesnt work as it is not considered as an emergency so the doctor is putting me in a trial programme so I only pay for what cannot be avoided. So I won't go in for now I will just do all the tests as outpatient. I am quite happy doing that 😃

Well friends you know as much as I do tonight. You all take care of yourselves xxxx

I don't know how I missed this post... I'm so sorry you're faced with this as a possible diagnosis: a condition I've never heard of. Sending hugs from south London xx
