oh dear,, Tracy.do you need to go back and have the stitches out or a check up? worth phoning finding out what you can do to alleviate the pain, did they give you a mouth antiseptic rinse or a gel, something similar?

if not try the old bicarbonate of soda that the pharmacist gave me to gargle with yesterday when my gums were bleeding after all this aerosol nebulizing..small teaspoon in half a glass of water, it dit sting for a minute because it is like salt a disinfectant, I must say I did that and took 2 paracetamol before bedtime and felt much better the next morning. 3 times a day she said but if you have your own product don't mix of course..those collutorium with Chlorhexidine tend to irritate me more than anything else.

my last advice is thyme, you should find it in teabags if not make you own, let it soak for 5 mn and gargle 3 times a day, thyme is a disinfectant and an antiinflammatory, I use it for sore throats especially with all the inhalers we use etc..

Take care Tracey xx
