Hi there, I've had a chronic cough since October. We are of course all different in what triggers our symptoms but most of us here share a history of weakness in the chest area. In my case it seems that dairy is triggering my coughing. It can take from one hour to four hours for me to react. Each time I first feel my face becoming warmer and I start to feel on edge. A mid chest irritation begins that leads to hours of severe coughing. Lying flat is not possible. I've been given new Inhailers but they do not seem to do anything and they have now removed them. Going to see an allergist on Tuesday to see what I can do. Otherwise I will have to learn to be vegan, as I'm long time vegetarian. I hope you find a solution too. Chronic coughing just wears you out after a while and makes life a misery;0()
