Hello Elanaoali am waiting to read your answers as my chest is sore. Wondered if it is anything to do with the cold weather as when I got shopping now I am very pleased to get home.♥

Not sure if this will help but my GP has prescribed Co-Codamol 30/500mg and Tramadol for chest soreness or any other pain for example broken ribs etc.

I often have the same problem and mostly I find that pain killers have fairly limited use. I use co-codomol for the headaches but it's not really that much help for the pain in my throat and lungs, which feel as if someone's given them a good rub down with sandpaper, so I look for ways of making myself more comfortable without additional medication. My big successes have been making a hot toddy using Lemongrass and Ginger Cordial (you can get it in Sainsbury made by Bottlegreen), a spoonful of honey, hot water and additional lemon juice if needed. At bed time I splash some scotch in as well, but add more lemon juice to disguise the taste (I know, if I don't like it, why am I using it? Because it helps me sleep and if it works I'm happy). I also use an air purifier and this does make breathing less painful. Best of all, and not available to everyone, is a trip to the salt cave to spend an hour deep breathing salt saturated air. It may not work for everyone but it works for me.

I hope you find something that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking about a dehumfier . I think my mum got one and might ask her if I can have it.

I am afraid scotch and lemons are off the menu as the other condition i have and the medication for it means they are off the menu.

At the moment the soreness is getting better but increases when I go out and about. The combination inhaler seretide day 3 is defintely kicking in. Just need to pace myself and I know things will improve.
