Asthma hospital

Hi does anyone know where the best asthma hospital/specialist is?? Thanks

Hi nThis would be a difficult question to answer. nI have been under a few consultants in the London area I have been under Hammersmith transferred to guys and St Thomas hospital now been transferred to the Brompton as am too difficult and a typical they are all good hospitals and the specialists have been great but can't compare them they have different experteze

I'm under the royal Brompton. I can not fault their care. It's exceptional. nnIt depends where in the country you are where you get seen.

Do you see a team of specialists every time you go to Royal Brompton or just a chest/asthma consultant?

Every 12weeks or so I see the consultant. If there are any problems in the intern I contact the asthma nurse and they organise a review in the day clinic that normal involves chest x-Ray, bloods etc. nnIf the consultant has any concerns he will refer to different specialist. They are very good there.

I'm under the Royal Brompton hospital and am seen every 3 to 4 months in out patients asthma clinic.
