Got to be done!! - Weather by you floods, winds, snow etc and how it's affected you

OK 90mph winds in my part of the world in the UK today lashing rain/hail and occasional thunder for good measure lol

yes similar strength winds here on Wednesday too!! Our running club was cancelled I think it might even be the first tim it's been cancelledcos of weather.

Thankfully the weather itself hasn't affected me too badly but i did a 10k run last Sunday and for the first 10k we were running into 30mph winds - unsurprisingly my lungs didn't like it and i spent 48 hours coughing!!!

We've been lucky flood wise. But the beach front houses have had a sand blasting and a half (I'm in town luckily) The wind and rain have been awful though. Trees down all over the place and tiles falling from roofs- most of my town is OLD! The leisure centre has had to shut the pool as the roof has been falling into it and the car park.

Yet with all this strong wind, my basket of pegs is *still* on the washing line?! I think our back yard must be fairly sheltered!
