Does it sound normal ? Changed to neb till feel better and neb bringing sats up
Hi Glynis, do you have an asthma plan agreed with your doctor/hospital about when you need to seek medical advice? This is usually based on symptoms and peak flow and has a traffic light system. Ie yellow zone is often to increase preventor meds or add steroids, and red is to seek immediate medical help. Obviously everyone is different in terms of what is appropriate for them to manage themselves. I hope you're feeling better soon, please do seek medical advice if your breathing is really compromising your activity levels.
Hi nursefufurby...yes I have a action plan to follow telling me when kick steroids in and neb etc.
So at the moment gone from reliever to neb 3-4 hourly 5g and holding off steroids see how I go.
My sats monitor not on my plan as not had it long.
Im on easyhaler ,seritide ,Spiriva,Slophylin, monelucast and neb and steroids as needed
Please follow your action plan and get help if needed, be it out of hours GP/A&E tonight or let your doctors know in the morning if you manage overnight. Best get checked out especially if you feel worse or you need nebs more often than you have been told.

Does it sound normal ? Changed to neb till feel better and neb bringing sats upAs you say, we cannot give such advice on AUK, medical help is best in person for proper assessment as nebs and sats may not give a full picture. I know generally many people say sats should be 95% or over.
Thanks Tj , going go by what I've always done with my action plan with pf and asthma team.
On max meds and 3-4 hourly nebs...if no better will kick in steroids and see my doc or phone my asthma team. Any deteriation will go AnE ...lol
