Hello. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if a toothpaste with a higher fluoride content can irritate asthma? My son who's 12 has been using one for two weeks now and seems to have developed an annoying cough.

Just a thought (I don't know how old your son is)...he's not swallowing the toothpaste is he? Because mint can aggravate reflux. Funny you should post this as I'm actually allergic to mint, and have had trouble finding fragrance free toothpaste with fluoride in it.
