I have found that coke cola make me feel tight chested and needed to take reliver meds to control this is this just me ?? normaly dont drink that much coke ect if i do tend to go lemone ect

Someone told me that drinking coke would HELP during an asthma attack as it expands your airways. It certainly seemed to help me at the time, but maybe that was more because she sat me down and gave me a drink and made a bit of a fuss. Before that I'd been running around trying to carry on as normal even though I was struggling to breath.

well i would drink coke all day everyday if i could (although mostly cheap diet no caffeine) so i cant really say that i relate to the problem

but my little bro who is 12 and has asthma is allergic to various colours and conserving chemicals so possibly something like that?

the most important thing is that you have been abpe to identify the trigger and therefore can try to avoid it as much as possible. maybe talk to your doc about possibly having some allergy tests done to find out exactly which ingredient/s it is so you can avoid it easier?
