I personally find blasting the cold with vitamin c powder amazing! Its usually available from health food shops or larger chemists.
If u can't get the powder the disolvable fizzy tablets are a good alternative.
Just check with the chemist 1st that its ok to take with your other meds.
Good luck with your exams!!
I would make sure you do the simple things - try to get enough sleep and eat and drink properly. Sounds daft, but when I was studying I found it all too easy to stay up late, work long hours and neglect some basic needs. Need to take plenty of breaks too. This will just help give your body the best chance of shifting the cold quickly.
Best of luck with the exams!
Hi
I have heard from a fellow asthma patient when I was admitted into RBH that vicks first defence is brilliant at stopping the cold getting worse, maybe you can try that
hope it helps
x
Thanks all!
Will be trying all of the suggestions to try and keep it at bay!
Unfortunately as asthma is bad have trouble sleeping so that doesn't help with the whole cold thing!
Have tried using tiger rub (I think that's what it's called) to unblock nose but will definatly try Vicks first defence thanks Nimz! Atm, cold isn't too bad just head feels all full! Worst timing just before important exams!!
