advice on mobility chairs please

Hi all

I just wanted to know if anyone has a mobility chair wheelchair because thier asthma is so bad that they are unable to walk any distance. William has been struggling recently with walking certain distances for instance he even knows that if he walks to a certain shop not far from us he cant manage it. I am now considering getting a mobility chair to help him but have had doubts put in to my mind by my mum who thinks i am just over reacting. If there is anyone who has any views on this it would be great to hear them
