What cheek!!

my manager text me this afternoon and said ""I know you aren't well, but would you still be able to come to the Receptionists meeting tomorrow at 1pm for 1.5 horus

That's unbelievable! I presume you told them where they could put their meeting?

And they didn't even have the decency to speak to you in person!

I went to the meeting - and some of the other staff were trying to find out why I was off so I just said it was because I am ""very ill"" and they were like ""oh yea lots of colds going around""

Would you put in a complaint about this?

Just told a friend about this and she says I'm overdramatising it! but then she really doesn't understand just how poorly I am.

i'd ring acas for advice on employee sickness rights and issue a greivance if you feel so strongly
