Colds and a lot of them!

Us asthmatics, are we more prone to colds? I have adult onset asthma and since diagnoses I get an obscene amount of colds despite eating well, taking vits etc. I swear I get more colds in my thirties compared to when I was a child! Surely this should be the other way around.

Yea it should. I find a course of Vitamin C and Zinc helps. The ones which taste horrible are best if you actually have a cold.

I'd take a multivitamin for a while too, but not all the time. Get them all in your food? Do not believe it!

Get a book of Food tables and work it out for yourself.

try echinacea it works by avoiding the cold or if you do get it then it seems to cure it quicker but it has kept me at work for years. A colleague would hand them around like sweets the first sneeze or cough that came from anyone she would then instruct the person to invest in a bottle as she did not need their germs she would say in a jovial but serious way and to be fair it did keep the office fairly germ free...
