Haven't a clue Kit-Kat, I get exactly the same thing, plus I kind of stop breathing and can't get my breath, like my lung has collapsed or something LOL
Happy New year
I always say im allergic to laughing because if I laugh it starts a coughing fit then need nebs back 2 back for a little while so I like to smile but try my best not to laugh
Hey kat :o)
lauging is an emotion, just like crying so if emotions are one of your triggers then its gonna cause problems! it drys out your airways causing irritation which causes you to cough, I think that's right??
So stop laughing :op hahahahahahahaha!
my asthma can be triggered by emotions yes but its a difficult trigger to avoid! Just wondered what actually happened to your airways when a trigger is an emotion, whether its the same as an allergic response ?! Its a tad difficult sometimes to avoid laughing so i guess its just one of those things you just got to live with then hey?? Thanks for replies xxx
Emotions can change breathing patterns, anger, stress etc causes you to hyperventilate which irritates the airways causing wheezing, tightness etc.
This is a good site it also goes into more detail on how stress and hormones and chemicals produced by stressplay a part in making symptoms worse.
