How do you remember?

I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas or ways they use to remind themselves to take their asthma pump places with them? Just recently i havent been able to remember to pack it in my bag when i leave the house!

I have inhalers scattered everywhere,i always have 1 in my main bag, in the car, 1 at mums .

i suggest u leave 1 in your main bag and only take it out to use it that way u cant forget it.

we've got a drawstring bag my mum made which we keep in the car for Emily, then we have one in my handbag and hundreds in the house!

Lanny, I use my car keys as a reminder. If I must remember to take something with me I always park my keys alongside the item. It works every time, unless I forget to take the car of course – LOL.

Now where did I put that wig…

Take hair,

Derek

I have inhalers everywhere - in a pocket of every coat, in the living room, in the drawer next to my bed, one next to my computer keyboard, in the car, in my bag and spares in the bathroom cupboard. Mind you I use my nebs most of the time and have one nebuliser that lives by my bed and one that I take out everywhere with me.

I have only 2 bags my main and favourite one that is going to fell apart soon and uni rucksack so I keep one inhaler in each. I never go out without a bag so I have no problem to keep an inhaler with me.

It only gets tricky when I have to lock up my bag at work so I put inhaler in the pocket and then it ends up in the washing machine on hot wash together with my uniform.

As I have an assortment of old and new blue puffers (think i have 4 altogether, but 2 are on their last legs!). I put a puffer in both the bags I use, (Ruby Gloom satchel and Linkin Park back-pack) and keep them in there. Then I keep one on the desk and carry the other one around the house with its usual resting place bing on my ""table"" beside the bed. By doing this, I always have a puffer to hand, though I have been tempted to get some friends that I am with regularly to carry one, but this would be too extreeme.

Thanks guys :) i only have a couple of inhalers but an assortmant of bags i seem addicted to using on my own personal roatar! ;) i guess ill have to cut down on the amount of bags i use! xxx

Or get more inhalers to put in all those bags.

I have inhalers everywhere. 1 by my bed, 2 in my work bag, 1 in my uniform which gets moved into the pocket of my clean uniform each night when I leave work, 1 in the car, 1 in my hadbag that serves all other occasions, and a few spare in the cupboard. I also have 2 spacers 1 by my bed and 1 in the office at work.

Hi Lanny,

I also ahve inhalers everywhere - 1 in the car, 1 at work, 1 in the kitchen, 1 upstairs, and then 2 in normal bags I think and finally 1 in a puffapouch that stays by the door so that I can pick it up as I go out if not one in my bag. I know thats loads but it's peace of mind that there's always one close by. they're all in varying degrees of fullness now, but I make sure I change them when they run out so there aren't any empty ones! Did take a while to build this arsenal of lue puffers up, but well worth it, also my GP gave me a script for 4 at once when I asked him so that I'd have spares, worth asking you'rs if they could do the same - means you build up spares quickly - and it's not as if they go unused!!
