Hi all,
Hope everyone's coping.
Have had a manic fortnight with work and with the band, and my asthma seems to be behaving itself right now. Have been on Singulair for 3 weeks now, and really starting to feel the difference. Also still on my Clenil Modulite 200 (3 puffs twice a day), and Ventolin as and when. I'm now finding I don't need to use the Ventolin more than about 3 times a week, and when I do, it seems to work quicker. I'm even feeling well enough to start walking and cycling again, so life is good right now. I even went out and danced with the punters on Friday night. Something I haven't done for ages, because if I did, I was then too breathless to sing!
Good news for me is that work are hopefully going to let me jobshare with an 80/20 split with a colleague. Having one day off a week is going to make such a difference to me.
Just wanted to thank everyone for their support. I've been, at times, very down and weepy, thinking there's no light at the end of the tunnel, but my GP told me to be patient, and that once we get the meds right, I should be OK. It's lovely to know that you guys are there with a kind word, good advice etc when it's needed. It's kept me sane and hopeful.
Cheers all. Let us know how you're all doing.
