Poor you - which hospital are you at?
Keep your chin up! It's not always fun to be in hospital, but hang in there. I hope you feel better soon.
sorry your in hospital and hope you work out your escape plan soon. Theres only so many films you can watch. Pneumonia is easy to get yet more difficult to get rid off, hope you get it sorted. Have you see the adverts for the games that are sent to your phone ie quizzes, polls etc, may be that might keep you amused during your incarceration.
I usually read magazines or doze when in hospital (never get much sleep at night). Hope you get out soon.
Does your hospital have a play specialist? Sometimes they have things that they can lend, especially if you're in hospital for a long time. At 'my' hospital they have laptops and games consoles that they let people borrow. And lots of games for the consoles and videos/DVDs, of course! There are also lots of things to do if you're feeling up to it - art classes (OTs often have art and craft supplies if there's no art group), singing workshop, relaxation sessions, reflexology... It's worth trying to find out about all these things if you're a regular visitor, and maybe you could encourage the CF unit to set up some of these fun things if they don't have them organised already!
It's a very long time since I was in hospital, but I do find myself stuck in the house a lot. Apart from the usual things that you already have access to, I often find that writing helps. Letters to people I haven't seen for some time or maybe have a go at some poetry (usually deleted immediately, but it passes the time and makes me think hard).
If you have access to a computer maybe you could start researching something that interests you. I've lost whole afternoons trying to track down just one piece of information so I know how well that can work.
