Fever and coughing up green... YUCK!

I have another LRTI and its basicly knocked me for 6 again, but has anyone ever been hot and sweaty but have a temp of 34 degrees? It was a little odd, doc has me on more antibiotics, but just wonder about the chill with sweating and shivering as it actually scared me.

Hi. i feel like that when not well. I can be burning hot but shaking as cold inside or other way around.Usualy get under my fleace .Hope you feel a little better soon Love Glynis X

34 seems really low - did you measure this yourself, or was it the doctor? If you did it yourself, it might be worth checking with another thermometer to ensure yours is working correctly.

I'm sure they said on QI recently (I realise this isn't the best source of info!!) that anything below 35 was considered as hypothermia and hence dangerous??

I thought it seemed a little weird and very low to me too, but I got doc to check and it was 34.9 on his probe, so he basically told me to wrap up nice and warm and drink plenty of hot fluids.

Sorry to bump, but thought I'd give you all an update.

Am doing better, Augmentin is really doing the trick and was able to brave going outside yesterday without coughing, wheezing or feeling really really unwell.

Hope you are all ok
