spiriva respimat

i have been using this for a while now and my rather unstable symptoms have since become much less frequent. anyway, today i have been to the chemist to get my repeat and was told that they dont have it and cant get any from the manufacturer. does anyone know what is going on? im really worried that i would be able to get my medication!?!?!?!?!

Hi fifi, it could be a temporary supply problem - try phoning around other local pharmacies to see if they have it in stock. If not, then Spiriva's also available as a powder inhaler (Spiriva Handihaler), so you could ask your GP to prescribe this as an alternative until the Respimat's available.
