I'm on Intal which is similar but supposedly less revolting. Have found that if you tilt your head back slightly and time breathing-in to start just before pressing the inhaler, the taste then seems to only hit the back of the tongue and throat.

I've also tried using an AeroChamber with Intal but get better results taking the inhaler on its own. Fisons used to make a large volume spacer called the Fisonair for Intal and Tilade, but that's not available now. In Australia, an Intal/Tilade adaptor is available for the Volumatic spacer - but not sure if these can be ordered online or whether using a spacer would improve the taste assuming less Tilade would be deposited in the mouth.
