I went around this time of year,it was extremely humid which caused a few problems and I,m sure you will be aware that are very few smoking restrictions if you go out and the medical facilities may not be what you are used to in a modern UK hossie-we were based in Varadero and I have heard that there has been a lot more modern developments built recently so you may find a more modern medical system as well-hope you have a good time !

I am canadian, so i dont know the UK system well. Yea i am aware of the humidity there which doesnt affect to much we get very hot humid summers here, i think even worse since there we get the ocean breeze as supposed to here.
