Asthma classed as a minor illness

A Few times when I have called my doctors, complaining about my Asthma, I have been refered to the minor illnesses Clinic. Why give receptionists (Pseudo doctors) the idea its a minor illness, and surely saying that it is a minor illness is wrong and dangerous!

Time to put your foot down, Harry. Ask to speak to the practice manager and detail every time you feel you have been fobbed off to the minor illnesses clinic. Its your health. Take charge of it.

The receptionists need educating, be firm and ask to see or speak to a Dr then mention to the Dr about being referred the minor illnesses. Take care
