I had an asthma attack in my dream but it didn't not affect me when I was a sleep. Soon as I woke up, my chest felt like I had been trapped in a tiny room and not able to breath some times I have sore ribs. I have done my peak flow 430 normal for me. I am on fostair 100/6 and it's not fully controlling my discomfort. I have my asthma review soon thanks to a text alert from my doctor's. Until my asthma review what can I do to release up my tight chest and sometimes my sore ribs.

Sleep and minor asthma problem's
See a McTimony Chiropractor. They will not cure asthma. However, they knew a lot about removing muscle tightness and sore ribs due to muscle tightness.
My sore ribs and sometimes tight chest is linked to my dreams and a Chiropractor will not be able to help me with my dreams or my tight chest and sometimes sore ribs as my doctor's said a Chiropractor and my doctor's can not help me
Do not understand. You say: "My sore ribs and sometimes tight chest is linked to my dreams".
That's what I got told and I don't understand it myself
I think the doctor is saying you are imagining it.
There is a situation where muscle is a little tight. This tightness results in continual pulling on bone. The bone responds by the person feeling discomfort. It cannot be seen and it requires hand sensitivity and knowledge of muscle behaviour to pick it up. The discomfort is removed by lengthening out the muscle by various hand techniques. No medical doctor I know of has this training.
How do I know this? I have received treatments from my chiropractor for this condition on a number of occasions. Note: I received chiropractor treatment on the NHS since 1994 for a condition that is not curable. This has given me the opportunity to learn about all sorts of things that muscles do that I would have not otherwise known about.
Make an appointment with a McTimony chiropractor. There is a difference between cure and management. What you have is not curable. The doctor is right in this. However, you can develop better management strategies for better quality of life. This is where the McTimony chiropractor comes in. You are investigating to see if it improves management of your condition or not.
There's nothing that they can do as I have tests and it's confirmed that it's linked to my dreams. Also why would I want to waste money on a Chiropractor that I don't have and there's nothing that they can do
Presumably you do not have any symptoms which might suggest it is linked to anything else such as your heart?
If it seems to be linked to your dreams then maybe before you go to bed ensure that you haven't watched any horror movies or read books which might cause you to feel stressed. Have you tired relaxation, such as slow deep breathing before you got to bed. When you wake can you get back to sleep?
It is difficult for a doctor to know what is happening if it only happens at night and you are fine by the time they see you! When we sleep our bodies do react to our dreams. Have you ever watched a dog with their legs twitching when they are asleep! See if you can find some relaxation techniques to help you.
Before your asthma keep a note book and pen by your bed and record your symptoms. How frequently does it happen. Check your peak flow before you go to bed and then when you wake tight chested. Do you have any other symptoms? Have yout tried a reliver inhaler and does that help? It will help to see if there is a pattern. Peak flow is only one measure of asthma.
They did check that out and that's been ruled out they also ruled out having physio as I have a spine injury. I went for physio theory just to make it a bit easier for me to get up as I was struggling to get up. My doctor's was informed what my physio had find and carried out all the tests required. It only affects me at night. I only listen to kid's books as I can not read that well I also struggle with writing a book about what is going on due to me being dyslexic and I don't know any of it expect tight chest or bruised ribs
