Here's a game seen on another forum. I've copied their explanation on how it works.
I'll start by saying, ""I went shopping for shoes, but they didn't have any. So I bought sandals instead."" The next person will say, ""I went shopping for sandals, but they didn't have any, so I bought (fill in the blank)."" And so on. The items (what you were going to buy and what you actually bought) can be similar...or complete polar opposites. You went shopping for what the previous person bought, and there weren't any left, so you bought...(fill in the blank).
Starting sentence - I went shopping for sandals but they didn't have any so I bought shoes..

the crisps were out of date so had a ice cream
The icecream had defrosted, so I had a sorbet
Run out of sorbet when I went along, had to make do with a sherbet dab.
sherbet dab box was empty so had some blackjacks
I had forgotten I didn't like blackjacks so I swapped them for an old copy of Jackie.
they hadnt got an old coppy of Jackie so decided to get a sentinal
I went shopping for a Sentinel, but they didn't have any. So I bought a tin of dog food instead.
