Do any of you good people have experience of BOTH of these devices-I find the I-pod a bit bland looking but I recognise that it does the business performance wise but I like the fact that the CZ has FM radio -so can anyone give me any comments about their relative ""grooviness""?
Ta very much,
Bluejam.

i pods are funky, but very pricey for what they essentially are, an MP3/MP4 player. A friend of mine has one and it is very prone to formatting itself (very frustrating for poor simon).
Not had much with creative
in my honest opinion, i think you would be better off with a PSP, they feature a cool MP3 player, movie player which uses .mpg format videos as well as buying UMD videos. If you use wireless, you can use the internet and the memory is expandable.
Oh and of course, you can play games!
Tesco £4.97 MP3 player only 256mb but all the kids have one they drop lose and generally miss treat them and I don't care. Having said that they are lasting well

Hi bluejam
I have a Ipod video and it looks and sounds great but the screen tends to freeze quite alot and I have had to reinstall it once already! But the battery life is good and it can hold up to 7,500 songs and loads of pics and videos but in my opinion I would go for the zen, it is cheaper and does more.

I have the ipod that can play videos to! So far no probs with it. It is a little big though!
For sound quality, build quality and general value-for-money, the Creative Zen beats the iPod hands down.
Thanks for the comments everyone,I never really considered the PSP probably because I already have the PS2 for the kids to use--as every adult says,I will probably get the CZen due to the radio feature so I can keep up with Radio 4-all the great comedies come from R4 so having the radio is a big plus for me,but not at the expense of ""general"" duff performance but from what people say ,the Czen is good from that point of view so thanks again.
