Is it so wrong to do !!!!!'
I say ""let them eat cake""!!!!
Anyway, I'm sure the endorphines it'll create must br medicinal herefore eating cake is good for.
You. (silly phone won't let me type properly!!!)
Don't think cake can ever be wrong, in moderation and so on.
Have seen 'Keep Calm and Eat Cake' prints mugs etc which are great
I think unless a cake has 'Happy Birthday' all over it and candles then it's just a cake and I see no reason not to eat it at any time of year!
Or are you after a specific cake which does happen to have all that? Can always remove the lettering if it bothers you It's still just cake at heart!
EDIT Damn you, now I want cake too! There should be a rule in forum T&C's about not making other users crave cake
Shall I send you a piece of mine, I've some left from yesterday
I think you should go and tear yourself to a big chocolate cake and you could be like the queen and have 2 birthdays !!!
Can I have some too please riles? And belated happy birthday btw! Hope celebrations were good before you had to go home (think this was you?)
Question: which is better for asthma, cake or muesli?
Shall I send you a piece of mine from yesterdays celebrations
I think you should go and treat yourself to a nice big chocolate cake and celebrate 2 birthdays like the queen !!!
Mmmmmm cake.
I say.... GO FOR IT!
riles: a) Happy birthday for yesterday, hope you enjoyed celebrations before having to go home. b) Can I have some too please?
Question for everyone: which is better for asthma, muesli or cake? Does either have a significant effect when tested against placebo (and what would the placebo actually be)?
Hi there
I say a bit yes to eating cake. I would love a piece of cake but not allowed because of allergies but if you can eat cake I say a definate Yes to it and sing happy birthday to yourself while eating it too. Enjoy xx
It will be somebodies birthday that needs celebrating! Just because you dont know them, the ocassion still needs cake! You can always eat cake! Enjoy!

Happy Unbirthday to Gussypoo and anyone else that fancies a bit of cake
Oh Gussypoo! Just read your post.
Away you go, daftie, and buy your cake. ASDA's open 24/7 or for a bit of posh, Sainsbury's is open until 10pm.

Had to go get a cake!!! Best one i like is xmas cake! Wonder if any still in shops? CBA make one.
I was doing research for work the other day (yes, really, this is what book marketing can involve...) and came across a chocolate-themed blog that had a recipe for chocolate Kahlua cheesecake! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! I was practically on the floor with cravings lol, wanted it so badly. I may have to buy some Kahlua and make it.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY RILES.....
Gussypoo, there's nothing wrong with eating birthday cake when it's not your birthday. In fact, I would recommend it. My sister used to love wedding cake and it wasn't until after she got married for the third time that she realised that it was ok to eat the cake even if there wasn't a wedding!
enjoy the cake. Don't feel guilty. Life's too short.
Maybe we should have a virtual birthday cake right here - Chocolate cake anyone!!
Helen1 I can do dairy/wheat/gluten free cake.
More than welcome to share my birthday cake folk. It's a bit stale now though and needs lashings of custard over it! I think I'm gonna be binning in this week. It *looked* stunning but one slice was enough for at least 2 people!
