Red bull and crisps.
Red bull may be rather difficult....
i have an addiction to homework (i feel like spit if i dont do any, even if i dont have any, so i HAVE to do homework) but i am definitely getting rid of that by the end of the year =)
hehehe, whilst my dinner was cooking tonight I was talking to my housemate and she has given up chocolate and takeaways for lent... I was thinking of things I could give up and decided on cheese. I put it on everything lol and eat way too much of it... so there I was eating my dinner... and through complete habit I kinda forgot and grated cheese on to my pasta. Doh! So basically I lasted all of 10 minutes. Never mind, I'm trying to think of something else to give up instead.
I slipped slightly yesterday and had a Geobar and some hot chocolate though it isn't proper solid chocolate!
I'm not going to give anything up this year but do something positive instead. I'm going to do more washing up. Normally give up chocolate but had a KitKat today so that's already gone down the pan. Sometimes give up alcohol as well but that's too punishing and I'm going to the pub in Plymouth tomorrow night.
why would you ever want to give up cheese? =p cheese is like the most amazing thing in the world!
Haagendaz - you want my homework?
hehe I went to Sainsbury's this afternoon and yep I bought more cheese!
Since noone seems to be able to keep it up... I am glad that I decided NOT to give anything up for Lent !!
No quilt trip this way!
Still looking forward to my Valentine Chocolates....hint , hint !!

noooooooooooo i have 4 lab writeups and a commentary due tomorrow! and my teachers are showing no mercy, so if i dont have them by tomorrow ill get 0s =( I dont want 0s!
and why does everyone have such an obsession with chocolate? =p
and why do you guys want to give it up? didn't we all agree that it was a vegetable? =)
I too thought that I should give up something, but I won't. I will, though, make a special effort to make sure that everything that I do has a purpose and does something for someone else. I am going to think of and give to others. Does that sound acceptable?
Chocolate - who needs it?

I should know this I realise ,(lapsed Catholic!) but how long has lent left to ""run""-? I will give up Kettle Chips and donate the money I would have spent (could be a lot!!) to the Downs Association of which I do declare an ""interest"" as my niece Claire has Downs Syndrome.
Lent lasts 6 weeks and ends on Easter Monday. I am off Red Bull. This will be interesting....
Haha if lent ends on easter monday, that means vicky can't have any red bull when she comes to england hahahaha!
hummm.......
I am not sure if It is Easter Sunday or Monday, But, I know one thing. I said Red Bull, Not kick......
it ends on Easter Sunday, when Christians stop fasting and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
There is a really interesting resource on the Christian Aid website, where instead of giving something up for lent, you think about the world around you and people less well off than yourself - christianaid.org.uk
I will use it as well as giving up chocolate and sweets.
Wish I could give up asthma...
What's actually the point of Lent though? I know I'm a bit of a heathen but I just don't get it!
