ka holiday sedbergh school cumbria

hi im really chuffed had a ace week friday found out after a long time my daughter is now entitled to dla and just found out today my 6 year old daughter has got a place on the cumbria ka holiday im so happy things finally seem to be looking up. i just wondered if anyone elses children are going or know any more about it as had a answerphone message left today so havent got any info in writing to read through

pleased to hear your wk is going well and your daughter has place on the hol. Ill be volunteering on my 6th KA hol this yr in Sedbergh and with the little ones. She will have a fantastic wk, learn lots about her asthma and how to manage it but all while having lots of fun and meeting lots of new friends. We will be going on day trips and doing lots of fun activities on the site like crafts, sports, treasure hunts, swimming, camping etc etc.

hi thanks for the messages iknow she will love it she is really looking forward to it paperwork has now arrived so just got to get gp to sign it before i send it off .then i am going to look for a holiday nearby for while she is there [yes over protective mum cant stand to be too far away] lets just hope i can find somewhere that i can afford as i dont want my other daughter to feel left out

It's quite near to the lake district I think.

hi yes we are coming from far away coming from dorset yes it is near lake district just all the holidays are so expensive everyone wants about £800 minimum for 3 of us then food and everything while we are there mental

Hi Marie sorry to read that you've not had much luck in finding a reasonably priced wk for you to stay in the area. Have you looked at north yorks rather than Lakes as its not that far from Sedbergh might be bit cheaper with not actually being in Lakes, just a thought.
