Hey Marie.

Seretide is a combination inhaler, which means it has 2 inhalers in one. Serevent and Flixotide. Which is a Long acting reliever, and a steroid inhaler respectively. It can come in 5 different strengths as far as I know. And can come as an accuhaler (which is shaped like a disk) and an MDI, which is like a normal inhaler if you want to call it that.

I found it worked well for me for about a year, but then stopped, but I know a lot of people who have had a lot of sucess with it.

Hope this helps!

hi marie, as has been said below, seretide is a combination inhaler, and I have been using this for 3-4 months and had great success with it. The major advantage is that you can take both lots of medicaton in one go creating less irritation on the throat.

seretide comes usually as an MDI in 25/50, 25/125 or 25/250, and Accuhaler 25/100, 25/250 and 25/500, I would expect your daughter to be on the lower one, as seretide is not licensed at a dosage higher for children.
