??beginnings of RA

Hi all,

I just found this site and wanted to.ask your opinion. I don't know if I'm barking up the wrong tree but have gotten myself in a panic over possibly having RA.

I am 39 and have a couple of lung conditions. I recently moved to a more physical job where I'm on my feet for most of the shift.

A couple of weeks ago I started to have this weird feeling in one of my big toes when I moved it into a certain position and all I can say is that for a minute or so it's agony. This has now gone to other big toe and my mum mentioned arthritis.

A couple of days ago I had a painful knee which has since resolved and I didn't really think about as I do get aches and pains in my joints from time to time anyway.

Apart from the toe pain I don't really have and any other major symptoms apart from occasionally feeling unwell due to fatigue which brings on flu like symptoms.

I'm just wandering what others think? I'm thinking that I possibly have the beginning of RA.

I have booked an appointment with GP in early Jan

Regards

HC

Until you go see a GP and have blood tests, x-ray, referral to specialist etc it would be pointless guessing really. RA starts in different ways in different people and to be honest what you have described could be anything or (hopefully) nothing.
