Rainy days

Ever since I started having to deal with arthritis, I've started not liking a rainy day. I use to love days that were rainy. But know I just hurt all over when it rains from my hands to my hips to my knees and even my shoulders. What is it with foul weather days and arthritis? It definitely makes a person feel awful that for sure.

I do not know the answer but i know that rain dampness and wind make the symptoms worth. Always better to keep your effected areas covered and warm. cheers

With wet and windy weather it is the effect of the low pressure that has an adverse effect on arthritic joints, so making them more painful. The opposite of this is when there is high pressure with warm sunny weather as arthritic joints may be less painful.

I have a problem with hot weather too, I think it's the humidity!

Hermes 123. There is a simple explanation as to coursing your pain level to increase! Cold and Damp cause to body muscle to tighten there bye putting more pressure on your pain tracks, so thick woolly jumpers - hot water bottle- soak in a nice warm bath anything that makes your body muscle warm and relaxed. Hope this helps.
