MEETING WITH MY MP

HI EVERYBODY

GREAT NEWS

I HAD THE MEETING WITH MY MP TODAY AND IT WAS BRILLIANT

HE EXPLAINED THAT BEFORE OUR MEETING THAT HE WAS TOTALLY IGNORANT OF PPP.

HE WAS VERY INTERESTED AS TO WHAT I HAD TO SAY AND I RAISED SOME HELPFUL POINTS.

THERE WAS LADY WITH HIM TAKING A LOT OF NOTES AND AT THE END OF THE MEETING,WHICH LASTED 20 MINUTES,HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO RAISE MY CONCERNS WITH THE GMC.

HE HAS HAD A LOOK AT THE APP NETWORK WHICH I GAVE HIM THE LINK TO.

This is really great news! Well done for having the courage to meet with your MP. Issues we feel passionate about for personal reasons are not always easy to talk about with people we don't know, let alone people with influence. So very well done again!

Great to hear that he took the time to look at APP's website.

Everything each of us can do to increase awareness and raise standards of care all counts towards making a big difference (in the near future I hope).

So thank you for all your efforts - hope you feel very proud of yourself now!

The meeting was fantastic and he was very interested in what I had to say.

He is going to meet again with the CCG and get back to me with his findings.

Hopefully soon we will have another MBU in South Yorkshire.
