The word ‘blog’ stands for ‘web’ + ‘log’. Essentially, it is a place where you can log things. You might be asking yourself, ‘What kind of things?’. Well, really anything relating to Postpartum Psychosis or how it affects your life.
So, you can write about anything from how Postpartum Psychosis impacts family life, to the medical treatment you received and how it made you feel. When were you diagnosed and what has your journey been like since that point? Share information about resources you have found useful or things that have helped you/your partner recover.
Blogs can be as short as you like so don’t feel you need loads of content. Simply post what’s on your mind.
A few things to remember… the information here is open to all, so think about whether you are comfortable using your own name. If not, use a nickname. Don’t give your address or town name. Think carefully about giving information that could enable people to identify you. Your friends and family or even your baby when he/she is older could read the posts. If you are uncomfortable talking in such a public forum, please use our peer support email service instead: app-network.org/what-is-pp/...
That’s it. Now go blog!
