Hi everyone,
We are just launching a media campaign in Northern Ireland, to raise awareness of the need of a mother and baby unit, and of the need for increased awareness of postpartum psychosis - in the general population but also among frontline health professionals who may come into contact with families in the perinatal period.
We'd also like to raise awareness of our new peer support social group which will meet on Zoom (at least initially, but we hope to run in person groups in time) every month, for women in NI who have experienced psychosis in the perinatal period.
We are looking for people who may be happy to share their stories in the media in NI. Members of APP team would liaise with the media, around how they'd present their story, and there wouldn't be any pressure to share anything that you didn't feel comfortable sharing.
