Anybody taking venlafaxine for ocd, would be interested in peoples opinions if they are and if it does in fact work for them.

Hi Rafa - No, I've never taken venlafaxine, but i know people who have been prescribed it, and do be aware that it is one of THE most difficult anti-depressants to come off. I can't comment on it's effectiveness for OCD, because I've never had it, but know one person personally, and read lots more on the internet, of people who cannot come off it. My GP offered it to meonce, and I refused it for that reason. So - I'd suggest you do a bit more research before taking it.
