Blood pressure

Hello, I recently just turned 20 and have really bad health anxiety. In January I went to the hospital because I thought I had appendicitis (I ended up not having it) however I saw on my visit summary paper my blood pressure was 149/78. The first number seems mighty high to me and is freaking me out big time making me think I'm gonna have a heart attack or something because of it. Any advice

149 is high, but not heart attack high. If you have a family history (or your own) if hypertension then definitely follow up on it. However, I have health anxiety and I always have high blood pressure when I’m in a doctors office. It’s called white coat syndrome. Trying take your blood pressure at a time that isn’t as high stress and see how it is.
