Absolutely! I get so tired, I have to nap. Two days ago, I was feeling bad, so tired, went for a nap, got up later and felt my brain wouldn't engage. I googled it - of course - and discovered that many people feel the same, if they sleep during the day (even folks who don't have anxiety issues). I know the duration of the nap is important, to avoid, that 'foggy' feeling. Yesterday, I wanted to sleep, so badly but didn't want the same experience of the day before. I stuck it out until late, then went to bed. I'm lucky, I sleep reasonably well, during the night, although I have to get up and let my dog go outside, most nights. Interruption of sleep doesn't help.

Yes if i nap in the afternoon i feel so weird on waking up its horrible but normal

Yes, I know exactly what you're saying. I have never been able to nap during the day because of what you describe but I'm the same when I wake after a night's sleep and have been all my life...... I have never woken feeling refreshed after a night's sleep...... I always wake feeling groggy and unwell....... I've always suffered with depression and anxiety and now I have rheumatoid arthritis so these days I feel even worse. I've never been able to get to the bottom of the reason why....... I don't think it's all down to meds as I've felt like this all my life - Even as a child when I wasn't taking meds and I'm now 62.

I can only say I too feel as you describe and often it doesn't get any better as the day progresses and some days it even gets worse.

I hope the situation gets better for you.
