I did a lot of yard work yesterday and muscles are in OD. I am now feeling dizzy lightheaded and imbalanced on one side. Now I am in fear I will pass out and go into sudden cardiac arrest.

My right leg/hip is tight and I feel everywhere I look keeps moving left to right

Hi Bostonj,

I went through that for about 10 days. At the time I didn't know it was anxiety induced so it scared the crap out of me and made the symptoms worse. It's common to feel off balance with anxiety. I always felt like I was being pulled off balance to my left side and had brain fog/head numbing for weeks. Taking a shower was difficult as I had to keep my arm against the shower wall to keep balance. It went away as I realized many people have this symptom with anxiety. The brain fog disappeared one day on it's own after catching up on sleep. I'm almost certain it's your mind playing tricks on you. Anxiety makes me fatigued from lack of sleep and constant tension on my muscles-your body is ready to fight and feels threatened so all that oxygen and blood is going to parts of your body to prepare. Anxiety people get tired easier due to poor sleep if any at all and being on high alert-adrenaline most of the day. Go see a doc or cardiologist if you're concerned about any symptom. Have to start somewhere and realize you're going to be alright.

The dizziness and imbalance might be vertigo. And I’m almost certain the tightness in your leg and hip is due to the yardwork. You may have pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve or two. I wouldn’t stress too much over that. Your anxiety will only make it worse. Do some light stretching, an anti inflammatory and maybe that will help the aches and pains.
